In the darkness of death, we all fall
No one is exempt from its call
Even the smallest of babies must answer
To eternal sleep, a silent dancer
Our bodies return to the earth's embrace
Mixed with the soil, a gift for worms to grace
In death's grip, our final breath
But our souls, where do they go after death
Into the arms of the Divine, or towards hell's fire
Is it a friend or foe that awaits, conspire
As the soul approaches death's pearl gate
Greed and pride left behind
Drowned by the earth, nothing to find
Millions of angels praying and calling
"Come, oh soul, to us all"
I am a friend, I am a guide
Through all your troubles, I'll be by your side
Man, angels, demons - I am none
I am but a rock, steadfast and strong
In me lies the path to your true self
Don't follow Satan or heavenly elf
For I am the world within your soul
The realm of man, where you become whole
Let your spirit be honest and free
In the realm of eternity
Towards death's call, let it be
