1.Structural Conversation

Structural conversation merupakan suatu jenis percakapan dalam bahasa inggris, namun sesuai dengan grammar. sehingga grammar merupakan unsur yang menjadi sangat penting dalam sebuah percakapan.

2.Functional Conversation

Functional conversation merupakan jenis percakapan dalam bahasa inggris, dimana bertujuan untuk membentuk kemampuan seseorang dalam memfungsikan suatu bahasa sesuai dengan keadaan atau situasi.

3. Situational Conversation

Dalam situational conversation, kita menggunakan suatu bahasa ssesuai dengan situasinya, contoh penggunaan bahasa ketika sedang berada di kantor pasti berbeda dengan bahasa yang kita gunakan ketika sedang berada di mall.

Contoh kata 2 coffes, sebenarnya merupakan kalimat yang salah, karena kopi merupakan uncountable sehingga menggunakan cup, namun menjadi tidak masalah karena bahasa tersebut digunakan di sebuah restoran yang mana kita lazim menggunakan nya.
